Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Venuto Upcycle + Thrift is a one woman show specializing in patchwork and bringing the old back to life. All thrifted items are hand-selected and are items that couldn’t be left behind. Most upcycled creations are one of a kind, but can be reimagined upon request!

About

Hi, I’m Anika, the one woman behind the show. In March 2021 I graduated from the Visual College of Art and Design in Vancouver with a diploma in Fashion Design. I left with a 5 look, 13 piece collection that featured feux lether and chain. From there I shifted into the world of upcycling and have been swept up ever since.

I am drawn to fabrics and colours that are reminiscent of a picnic on a bright spring day, however this doesn’t mean to say I don’t rip apart denim like it’s nobody’s business.
